Grateful in Costa Rica
Not everyone has the same opportunities at the same time, just as in life we all pedal the bike just at different speeds. However, each opportunity you have, every fear or obstacle you overcome is a reason to be grateful.
I sit here in Costa Rica, having arrived on Thanksgiving on a solo trip...at a Denny's no less, while waiting for my bus at this pick-up location.
I'm so grateful for having this opportunity, for not having the fear of solo travel; for the excitement of meeting new people and learning something; and for the adventures that I will have and for the peace and relaxation.
It's a chance to restore, reflect, re-center and remind myself of all this life has to offer. And I am especially grateful to the amazing people who surround and support me.
